Enterprise IT is being transformed by cloud, AI and a wide range of digital transformation trends. The operational reality however is that over 80% of IT budgets remain focused on “keeping the lights on” and not on strategic change programmes. IBM solutions are the backbone of many organisations, processing critical workloads however they fall very much in the BAU bucket and their role in the future IT estate is less prevalent.
